Granlen and PomBioTech Announce Strategic Alliance to Provide Full Range of Metabolites and Chemistry Services
Granlen, US and PomBioTech, Germany – November 11, 2010 - Granlen and PomBioTech jointly announce a strategic alliance created to provide clients with a full range of metabolites and contract chemistry services of exceptional value. Granlen and PomBioTech have teamed up to offer clients the best services on the new and unusual metabolites that may be made by enzymatic or synthetic strategies with their unique strength.

PomBioTech
PomBioTech is a German CRO offering services for the pharmaceutical industry. We have specialized in the biotechnological use of recombinant fission yeasts (Schizosaccharomyces pombe). Using our biotechnological system we are able to offer our clients the production of recombinant proteins as well as labeled or unlabeled drug metabolites (cytochrom P450 and glucuronides) up to technical scale (mg to 100 g scale). In addition to this, PomBioTech offers the generation of custom made fission yeast strains that are specifically tailored to meet the need of our clients.
